  • "The tall handsome bar tender, William, was wonderfully welcoming and we will certainly be back for another pint".

    - Graeme Love

  • “Nice local pub. Great lunchtime meeting point for meeting friends over great food. I never hesitate to do lunch at The Hatch".

    - Simon Raymont
  • “We did an unplanned stop here on the drive back to London from Eastbourne and it was such a delight to stumble across it! The staff were so lovely and it was perfect sitting outside with a delicious coffee (jug of frothy hot milk provided) rejuvenating for the rest of the journey. Everyone was very friendly and there were lovely moments".

    - Emily Hannah
  • "Food was very good (mezze platter and fish and chips), but took a while to arrive, although it was a sunny Sunday so busy, and pleasant to sit outside waiting with a pint of Harveys!
All in all, a beautiful and charming little rural pub".

    - Andrew Stafford
