COLEMANS HATCH, EAST SUSSEX, TN7 4EJ     |   +44 (0)1342 822 363

During the COVID-19 lockdown we are sorry that we are unable to offer our loyal customers with our regular services.

Although unfortunately we are not allowed to open the pub, we have taken the opportunity to offer a takeaway food and beverage service on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes.

This is offered on a PRE-ORDER basis only, with orders being taken from 12.00pm on Friday lunchtime by phone on 01342 822363. We are booking 4 orders per 15 minute slot so availability is necessarily limited to comply with social distancing guidelines. The menu is published weekly on our Facebook page. You can find our Facebook page HERE.

Sundays menu consists of our Roast Sunday Lunch, this must also be pre-ordered. We also serve takeaway Harveys best bitter, Lager and wine in either your own container, or we have takeaway containers available for a small deposit.

We will also be rolling out some exciting and innovative ideas for your enjoyment throughout the summer, so, watch this space!

    - Simon Raymont
  • “We did an unplanned stop here on the drive back to London from Eastbourne and it was such a delight to stumble across it! The staff were so lovely and it was perfect sitting outside with a delicious coffee (jug of frothy hot milk provided) rejuvenating for the rest of the journey. Everyone was very friendly and there were lovely moments".

    - Emily Hannah
  • "Food was very good (mezze platter and fish and chips), but took a while to arrive, although it was a sunny Sunday so busy, and pleasant to sit outside waiting with a pint of Harveys!
All in all, a beautiful and charming little rural pub".
